Ancient Historic Sites

Major cities, especially the main tourist centers, London and Edinburgh, are famous for their architecture, grandiose engineering structures, the most comprehensive collections of artifacts and treasures in national museums and art galleries, and a variety of cultural events.

One of Britain’s most enigmatic sites remains the megalithic Stonehenge complex near the town of Salisbury. Scientists are still arguing about its origins, but that doesn’t stop millions of tourists from visiting the site every year and taking amazing photos.
